My English teacher has recently told my class about this new chatbot called ChatGPT and about how interesting he finds it and he recommended we try it because he wanted to know our opinions on it. So I thought I would give it a try.
ChatGPT is very easy to access. All I had to do was give it search on Google, make an account, and verify it. It only took about 1 minute.
I decided to ask it to write a review for the latest book I have read The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. The first result I got was really impressive, but also pretty generic so I asked to make it more personal and here are the results I got:
“The Cruel Prince by Holly Black was one of the most captivating books I’ve read in a long time. The story follows Jude, a human girl who finds herself in a dangerous world of faeries. I was immediately drawn in by the atmospheric writing, which transported me to this magical and dangerous place. The characters were complex and well-developed, making the story unpredictable and engaging. I was on the edge of my seat, eagerly turning the pages to see what would happen next.
One of the things I loved most about this book was the exploration of power, loyalty, and identity. Holly Black does an excellent job of weaving these themes into the story, making it both thrilling and thought-provoking. I was constantly impressed by the depth of the characters and their motivations.
Overall, I highly recommend The Cruel Prince to anyone who loves dark fantasy and well-written stories. The writing is beautiful, the characters are captivating, and the story is both thrilling and emotionally charged. If you’re looking for a book that will keep you hooked from start to finish, this is the one for you!“
These results shocked me. In my opinion, it definitely looks like a human made it. The pieces of information are all accurate and I even agree with the opinion it has about the book.
I definitely see this program being successfully used for assignments and fooling some teachers. I might even use it sometimes for homework I don’t care about or for inspiration.
In conclusion, I think this program is very useful and you can totally use it as a cheat for some of your classes. But I also think we should not use it for really important assignments so that we don’t kill our imagination completely.
