Aquila Publishing House has just released a new book called The Natural Wonders of the World.
This is a bilingual book in which are presented special places all over the world, suitable for all students, starting with class 1, when children learn to read.
A great advantage is that it is a bilingual atlas, being very educative because besides the fact that students can find the most beautiful natural places around the world, at the same time they also learn English.
For example, on page 9 is presented The Kakadu National Park from North Australia which has captured my attention both through the image presented and the description with which it comes. The park is described as a paradise for crocodiles and cacadu parrots. Here live one third of all bird species from Australia, which is amazing. The landscape is also very varied, with coastlines, mangroves, forested hills, rocks, savannah and tropical forests.
Further on, we find information about Ha Long Bay from Vietnam, about which the legend says was trained by a dragon, and the Kawah Ijen Volcano from Indonesia, whose lava shines at night in blue due to the high sulfur concentration.
If I caught your attention with the places described and if you want to know more about them and the rest of the natural wonders, I recommend that you buy this wonderful book!
