Do you trust this computer? is a 2018 American documentary film directed by Chris Paine. It deals with artificial intelligence, its benefits and disadvantages.

The documentary was dedicated to Stephen Hawking who predicted that the humanity is becoming endangered by the artificial intelligence.

The topics approached in the documentary are medicine, warfare, education, gaming, aid for the aged, human relationships and how they are impacted by this digital technology.

The documentary shows how the world we live in is slowly but surely transforming into a world of robots and AI.

In my opinion, one of the important roles that robots have is in medicine. One less important, that I personally dislike, is the “family robot” which lives in your house and becomes part of your family and daily life.

One AI machine I wouldn’t trust is the self-drive car, which takes full control of you as soon as you step in it.

In my opinion, the most important thing that robots don’t and won’t ever have is true feelings.

What can be learned from this documentary is how soulless things can take over our lives and take full control of us.

I think the younger generation is most likely to appreciate the documentary and I would personally give it a thumbs up.
