How technology has affected my childhood

Almost everybody has a phone: 94% of all Americans have cell phones, which means that 9 out of 10 people have a cell phone on them, ready to connect and communicate, whether on a smartphone or not.

There is a statistic that shows the total number of mobile phone users worldwide from 2015 to 2020. In 2019 the number of mobile phone users is forecast to reach 4.68 billion.

Nowadays, technology is changing the way children think and focus, but a score ago, it wasn’t like that.

The world we live in is constantly changing. Kids, decades ago, were not the same as the children of now. Technology has not affected my childhood at all, because at that time technology was not that complex. I used to play with my dolls, not with the digital version of Barbie. I used to go outside to play with other children, not to play video games with them.

I think technology has affected the way kids nowadays see their future. Some decades ago, they wanted to become doctors or architects, instead children of now want to become influencers and start a YouTube channel.

Unfortunately, the times have changed, we, as human beings, have changed, technology has changed the way we see the world.
