“Lo and behold” is a 2016 American documentary, directed by Werner Herzog. In it, Herzog speculates on the existential impact of the internet in human life. He presents both negative and positive aspects in this film.
The biggest negative effect of the internet is that it provides inappropriate materials. For example, in one of its ten chapters it is presented a family which have lost their girl in a car accident, her head was completely broken and photos with it were shared on Facebook and other social media with offensive messages.
Also Internet can affect people’s health with its radiations. In the movie we can see people which have moved in other parts of the country where there are no radiations and this the only way for them to survive.
In conclusion, from this documentary we learn the very important lesson: Internet is no life!
