A famous band named The Beatles

At school, our teacher invited us to watch a documentary about the famous band The Beatles. I wasn’t a big fan of this band, but I knew some more popular songs.

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960 consisting of John Lennon, Paul Mc Cartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They are widely regarded as the most influential band of all time, shaping the landscape of popular music and culture.

I chose to approach the song Don’t let me down because is a heartfelt plea from John Lennon to his lover Yoko Ono. The song reflects his deep emotional dependency and the fear of being abandoned. The lyrics encapsulate the intense highs and lows of love, emphasizing the necessity of trust and steadfastness in a relationship. Lennon’s raw and passionate vocals, paired with song’s soulful melody, convey a powerful message about the importance of having a partner who is supportive and present, especially during challenging times.
