We, humans – we are made to be egocentric. We are made to ignore other beings to achieve the satisfaction of our needs. We are very keen on ourselves, no matter what. We don’t care that everything we do leads in a way or another to this planet’s destruction. We are the fleas, she is the dog. We are the rapists, she’s the little girl.
This world is a cruel place to live in. Of course, we can’t change what happened up until now. We can’t erase history and rewrite it; we can’t put back all the trees that were cut down; we can’t bring back the species that went extinct. But what we CAN do is something spectacular. We can change the way we live. We can make a green revolution if we gather the right people.
Everything we touch gets altered in a way or another. The human touch is nothing but a slow poison to everything around it.
What if just for one day a month, we do absolutely nothing? We touch nothing, we work nothing, thus, we destroy nothing? On that one day, we turn on no lights. We use no electricity. We smoke no cigarettes. We eat green food and drink only water. We awake the spirituality within us by going out in nature and breathing in all It has to offer us. We listen to it. Appreciating every drop of rain, and not hiding from it.
Do nothing. Save everything.
