On Friday, February 14th, Valentine’s day, Onisifor Ghibu High School held an activity where the students had the opportunity to write letters to the loved ones of the opposite sex. At our school, this activity was repeated twice in a row, being initiated by the Students’ Council. The letters were collected in three days and some of them were brought even on the last day. These letters were received from all classes, starting with the seventh grade.
Cupid and his assistant, Petru Varga, respectively Andrada Iurascu, shared the numerous love letters or friendship letters. To raise the many letters, our Cupid, Petru Varga, had to make a little effort, but despite the effort, Petru was very excited to attend the second time this activity, because it makes him feel very happy when he can please everyone around him.
With a little skill, the two of them have managed to put the letters in order and share them quickly to recipients without wasting a lot of time. On receiving the letters, they reacted differently: curious, happy or amused.
Our Cupid was very excited to see that there are people in our school who have not forgotten the spirit and the true meaning of this day, when you can bring a smile to your loved ones. (translated by IOANA HOSU)
