A little girl was living with her grandfather. After a while, the girl was seriously ill and his grandma paid a doctor to see her. After that, he told to the old man that when the last leaf from the walnut which was in front of their house falls, the little girl will die, because her disease was very serious. The girl heard what the doctor said because the door wasn`t closed very well. Her grandpa tried to seem that everything is fine, but the autumn came and the leaves started to fall one by one. The little girl was watching the leaves falling. At one point, in the tree there was only a leaf, but she was feeling better. In time, she recovered completely and one day, without being seen by her grandfather, she went up the tree to see the leaf more closely.
