The BMW company launch the i8 model. It’s a hybrid coupe with sport flair. The vehicle uses the Life Drive architecture, the model with 4 seats has 170HP and 250Nm electric engine.
The unit with intern combustion has only 3 cylinders is positioned on back bridges and engages the back tires while the electric engine engages the front tires. The model can be compared with a wheel drive car, so both bridges can be engages concomitantly of the two engines, says Norbert Reithofer, general director. The new BMW hits in five seconds 100 km/h and the top speed is 250km/h. The producer says that it will consume under 3 liters percent.
