I entertain the idea that being a vegetarian or a vegan can lead to a lot of health problems such as anemia or fatique from the absence of vital nutrients like vitamin B12 and iron.
This diet can lead to money problems as well because plant based products tend to be more expensive than their natural counterpart. Another reason for economic burden might be the need for supplementation because a herbivorous diet doesn’t give you the necessary calories for the day so you need to eat more of the same stuff to feel full. Said this, being a vegan or a vegetarian isn’t all that bad. Sure it has a bad side but it also has a good side too like: fighting animal cruelty by refusing to support industries that exploit and harm animals for food production.
This diet can also bring an individual closer to God or align themselves with spiritual beliefs that emphasize non-violence and stewardship of the Earth.
In addition to these ethical and spiritual benefits, a plant-based diet can significantly lower the risk of heart disease. Studies have shown that vegetarian and vegan diets are associated with lower levels of cholesterol, blood pressure, all of which contribute to better heart health.
That being said, there is still a lot of speculation about this diet but in the end its about how your body responds and what you believe in.
