Dear Sirs and Madams,
I am writing to express my concerns the recent decision to prohibit smartphones in schools. While I understand the intention behind this measure, I beleive it is misguided and should be reconsidered.
Firstly, today’s students are digital natives. They have grown up using technology and smarthphones. Instead of banning these devices, we should find ways to use them in education. Smarthphones can be helpful tools, giving students acces to many resources and materials that can improve their learing.
Secondly, the job market is changing quickly, and many jobs require digital skills. By stopping students from using smarthphones, we may not prepare them well for the future. As they enter a workforce that depends on technology, knowing how to use these devices is very important. With fewer simple jobs available due to automation, helping students develop these skills is more important than ever.
Moreover, the prohibition of smarthphones, may createmore problems for some students. Not all families can afford other devices, like tablets or laptops. By not allowing smarthphones, we might make things harder for those, who cannot buy different thechnology. To put it simply, this decision could hurt the learning experience for many students.
All things considered, I would be very greatful if you could rethink this policy. I believe that with proper rules and guidance, smarthphones can be a helpful part of our education system instead of a distraction.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
NATALIA POP
